Adani Group to Build Rs 2,500 Crore AI-Ready Data Center in Telangana

The Adani Group is set to expand its presence in Telangana with a new 48-megawatt AI-enabled green data center, backed by Rs 2,500 crore investment, Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd., announced at the Telangana Rising Global Summit.

He said the facility will support AI, cloud computing, and high-performance workloads, strengthening India’s fast-growing digital infrastructure. The data center is expected to cater to enterprises and public sector needs as the country accelerates its digital transformation.

Karan Adani highlighted that the conglomerate has already invested around Rs 10,000 crore in Telangana over the past three years, spanning infrastructure, manufacturing, and logistics. These projects have collectively generated employment for more than 7,000 people in the state.

The group has also played a significant role in transforming Telangana’s logistics ecosystem. With Rs 4,000 crore invested in road infrastructure, Adani has built over 100 km of highways, improving connectivity across Mancherial, Suryapet, Kodad, and Khammam.

In addition, Adani emphasized the company’s contribution toward strengthening India’s defence manufacturing capabilities. The conglomerate operates a major defence and aerospace park in Hyderabad, which produces UAVs for both domestic and international clients. The facility now employs more than 1,500 young professionals, supporting the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The upcoming data center marks another strategic step in Adani Group’s commitment to expanding advanced technology infrastructure in the region and supporting Telangana’s growth as a digital and industrial hub.
