Bangalore: Today, the population in some of the major cities all over the globe has been a hot topic. Over the last few years, the population in cities exceeded the rural population, the population difference between the countryside and the city has not stopped growing. Let’s take a glimpse at the names of the world’s most densely populated cities as listed by

1.  Tokyo, Japan:

Tokyo, the capital city of the island nation of Japan turns out as the most populated city on Earth. It is situated in the southeastern region of Honshu Island and is made up of islands Ogasawara and Izu. Japan's capital Tokyo  is a crowded with bustling metropolis of over 34.000.000 inhabitants inclusive of population from Yokohama, Kawasaki and Saitana. It has 6.447 million households, with an average of 2.05 persons per household. This city consists of 23 special wards, 26 cities, 5 towns, and 8 villages each having a local government. Tokyo is also as considered one of the three “command centers” for the world economy, along with New York City London and England.
