Why West Needs Narendra Modi?

The French are keen on selling to India 126 Rafale fighter jets, and is in line of closing the deal with the Indian government. The Brits are not far behind as they will try to get India to sign a deal, in hopes to get India to overlook the French offer. Though India has shown interest on the Rafale fighter jets, over the British Dassault Jets, Britain draws cheer from the ever slow process in the negotiations the French are facing with India. These three major powers of the West have mustered quick successive visits to the Modi government over the next few months in order to find favor in his eyes

India became the number one importer of arms as from last year and America seeing it as a land of potentials for economic growth is in process of hoping to have an all round relationship with the Modi-led government. Going in this direction is increase in economic relations, import and export highs, and also bilateral relations in all round aspects of about 500 billion dollars. They also hope to resolve issues such as nuclear liability and patent talks, which have seen a dead end in the past.

The biggest worry for these super powers will be the kind of relationship Modi has with Asian countries that are growing such as China and Japan.
