Bangalore: Scandals and politics go hand in hand and a few involve sex. Sex scandals have ended many political careers, though there are a few politicians who could get away with their transgression. Recently, two BJP MLAs were allegedly watching porn inside the Gujarat Assembly on a tablet computer while the assembly proceedings were on. This wasn’t the first time; three Ministers from Karnataka were also in news for being caught watching pornography on a mobile phone in the State Assembly and had to resign after the same.

The top 5 political sex scandals that made the biggest headlines are:

1. Mahipal Maderna:

Rajasthan’s controversial minister Mahipal Maderna was allegedly involved in the case of mysterious disappearance of Nurse Bhanwari Devi. A secretly recorded video surfaced which showed Maderna and mid-wife Bhanwri Devi’s sex romp. Mahipal was sacked from Ashok Gehlot's ministry in 2011 after he was found involved in the Bhanwari Devi case.
