Real Estate Firm Paid For Burqas For Modi's Bhopal Rally: Digvijaya

Indore: Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh on Tuesday created a storm with a claim that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had got 10,000 burqas stitched for Narendra Modi's meeting in Bhopal on Wednesday for which a real estate company had paid Rs 42 lakh to a local tailor.
At a press conference in Indore, the Congress leader also produced before the media a bill purportedly issued by the tailor.
However, Dilip Singh Suryavanshi, the owner of the mentioned real estate firm, rejected the charge that his company had made any payment for burqas to be stitched.
He said he has no knowledge about any director of his company going to Indore and making payments to a tailor for the making of burqas.
A person speaking on behalf of Zeenat tailors said the bill that was produced by Singh was a quotation which had been made to look like a bill.
