Vadodara: City unit of the Congress party today criticized printing the photo of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi along with the photograph of Swami Vivekananda on the cover page of notebooks.

The notebooks were distributed to the children of primary schools during school enrollment drive launched here today.

Speaking to reporters, city Congress president Narendra Ravat said the distribution of these notebooks should be stopped immediately.

“How can you compare Modi with Swami Vivekananda,” he asked referring to their pictures printed side-by side.
