MathWorks hosted MATLAB EXPO 2018 in Bengaluru

MathWorks, a leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists hosted a MATLAB EXPO 2018, on 19th April for the research and engineering community in Bengaluru, the IT city, with Hyderabad and Pune on the agenda for 24th and 26th April respectively. Michelle Hirsch, Product Development Head, MathWorks presented the key note on the theme, “Are you ready for AI? Is AI ready for you?”, where she threw extensive light on how AI is empowering engineers, scientists, and programmers develop and improve products & services for an array of industries.

Since 2010, MATLAB EXPO has served as a platform for engineers, scientists and researchers to meet, engage and learn how Simulink, a graphical environment language for simulation and MATLAB help customers drive innovation within India with respect to its global exploration. MATLAB EXPO 2018 essentially focused on its relevance with Data Analytics Application, Control & Embedded Systems, Signal Processing Systems, and Robotics & Autonomous Systems. The expo was further enhanced by the presence of several high end brands like Honda,  Aptiv, L&T Technologies, NXP and many others, who added key insights during the customer sessions.

Speaking on the predictive analysis, Sunil Motwani, Industry Director, MathWorks, India, says, “Using the predictive analysis and MATLAB, we are bringing in the change in the industrial paradigm for various sectors like automotive, green energy, waste management and many more. Our development team in India works in sync with the global operations, aligning the Indian market with the international scalability”.

MATLAB and Simulink are teaching & research tools leveraged by engineers and scientists worldwide who rely on them to speed up the pace of discovery, innovation and development in automotive, aerospace, electronics, financial services and other industries.
