India Among Nations Where Women Work More Than Men


Bangalore: Women all over the world leave no stone unturned while converting a ‘house’ into a ‘home’.  The most recent survey compiled by Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) reveals that women invest maximum number of time in work than men in a single day, including unpaid work carried out by women. 1. Italy:

Italy, a unitary parliamentary republic in Southern Europe is one of the most developed nations in the world with the fifth largest economy by nominal GDP. In this country, the gender gap in wages has widened over the last decade. Italian women engage themselves in work for an average of 22 hours in a paid job, including performing 21 hours of housework each week which is about 11 more hours than the average Italian man works.
