Fossils is a Bengali rock band formed in Kolkata in the year, 1998. The band focuses on creating blend of rock, blue and psychedelic music. Their first music venture, Fossils, was released in 2002 followed by Fossils 2 in 2004 which was a big hit and bagged them much appreciation. The band comprises of Rupam Islam-the composer, acoustic guitarist and lead vocalist, Snehasish Das -organist, Allan Ao-guitarist and backup vocalist, Deep Das-back-up vocalist, composer and guitarist, Chandra-bass player and Tanmoy-drummer and percussionist.
