Heisnam Kanhailal is a theatre artist in Manipur, India. Kanhailal founded his theatre called Kalakshetra Manipur and for his notable achievements in the respective field, he was conferred Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1985 and Sangeet Natak Academy Ratna Award in 2001 added with various international awards in his whole career.
