Mark Tully:

Mark Tully a well known journalist in Indian, who held the chief chair of the BBC New Delhi branch for 20 years. He was born in Tollygunge, British India to a British businessman, further in 1964 he joined the BBC, moved to India as a correspondent. Throughout his career span in India, Tully covered all the major incidents of South Asia and quit BBC in 1994, as a consequence of internal difference with the Director of the BBC. For his exceptional journalistic works relating to India, the Indian Government has honored him with the Padma Bhushan Award.

William Dalrymple:

William Dalrymple, a famous historian of Scotland, who spent most of life researching on Indian and Middle East history. Subsequently, his interests drew him to explore the art and history of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Middle East. Likewise, Dalrymple has researched on Hinduisum, Muslim world and Budhism. Further, his books based on his exploration and researches have won numerous prestigious awards, including The Duff Cooper Memorial Prize, The Thomas Cook Travel Book Award, The Sunday Times Young British Writer of the Year Award.
