BENAGLURU: When you turn down pages of the history of politics, some of the families have largely involved in the affairs of state, such families have been chiefly subjective in forming the contemporary world and some of them have still remained in the real time politics and here goes the list of the most influential families in the history, as reported by the Toptenz.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild:

Mayer Amschel Rothschild, a banking legend in the European continent and his family heirs still rule the financial world in the respective continent. Rothschild is the founder of the Rothschild banking dynasty which operates in almost all the European countries and is mostly based in London, Paris, Vienna and Naples, as well as Frankfurt. The family is also said to be the richest in the world and the Mayer Amschel Rothschild was listed among the most influential people in the human history in various surveys.

Capetian dynasty:

Capetian dynasty that was founded in 987 AD by the Hugh Capet, subsequently the dynasty played a prominent role in forming a sovereign French state. Relatively, Philip II takes the credit of recapturing the French territories that were ruled by the British back then.

Later the family ruled the kingdom till the French revelation; however the decedents of the dynasty still rule Spain and Luxemburg countries. Hence the family is one of the oldest and the powerful families in Europe that has played a high-flying role in the European politics.

Mongol Empire:

Mongol Empire had the second largest empire in the history that once ruled 22.29 percent of the total land area of the world. The founder of the kingdom was Genghis Khan and founded the kingdom in 1206, he was ambitious in stretching his territorial boundaries and even after his death his sons continued kingdom expansion and back then it was the largest kingdom in the world. During the tenures of grandsons of the Genghis Khan, the kingdom started splitting and due wars between grandsons over possessing the throne. Hence the kingdom stated declining gradually.

The Ptolemaic Dynasty:

The Ptolemaic Dynasty that was formed by the Ptolemy in 305 BC in Egypt, the dynasty ruled the kingdom for more than 300 years. Ptolemy was one among the seven personal guards of the Alexander the Great and after his death the Ptolemy declared himself as the king of the Egypt and his successors developed the country as the arts and economic power house of the world; however the rule of the kingdom ended in 30 AD.

British Royal Family:

British Royal Family, that dynasty that ruled almost half of the world once and until today the members of the family have retained the influence all over the world and also is one among the most powerful families in the contemporary world. The kingdom gained recognition when it started expanding its territory through sea routes and colonized the African, American and South Asian countries by mid 1700s and gradually announced stated withdrawing its powers from the colonial parts after the World War II.

Nehru Family:

Jawaharlal Nehru, a legendary name in Indian politics who is also the first Prime Minister (PM) of the democratic India. Nehru played a major role in freedom movement and played an integral role in out throwing the British rule in 1947.

Later his daughter Indira Gandhi ruled the country as the PM and also was the first women PM of the country. After Indira’s death, her son Rajiv Gandhi was elected as the Prime Minister and currently his son Rahul Gandhi is the vice president of the Indian National congress.
