Poonam Mhajan and Rahul Mahajan are the kids of former politician Pramod Mahajan. Both are seen coming together in public functions.

Rahul shot to fame by marrying Dimpy Mahajan on a television show; he was also previously accused by his first wife of domestic violence. But when it came to his sister Poonam, Rahul has always been a perfect brother.  

Poonam is presently married to industrialist Anandrao Vejandala. She joined BJP, since she prepares to follow her father’s footsteps. After she had signed and joined the party a jubilant Rahul said, “I wish her all the best. We are one; it does not make a difference who joins the party, she or me. The BJP is in our blood and I would continue to work for it.''
