5 Hotshot Indian Executive Newsmakers

Bangalore: Some men are destined to fame and make recurrent presence on news or on the newspaper for certain prominent cause. Here are the five Indian hotshot men who appeared the most on news this month as per the survey by Dow Jones for Wall Street Journal. These men are placed on the top five list for the most number of times making headline this month.

Vijay Mallya
At the first place is Vijay Mallya, the chairman of United Breweries Group and Kingfisher Airlines. He is better known for the Kingfisher calendar launch. He has been in news this month for all the reasons one would duly avoid. With the Kingfisher airlines being under a huge debt and unable to pay the salary for employees since March 2012, Mallya has made it to many headlines. The overdue salary has enforced the staff to go on strike demanding payment. This is followed by the announcement made by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the suspension of the Kingfisher Airlines which has put the company in a tough spot. Most recently he has made news for the beer plants in Karnataka running without pollution clearance board’s approval just another trouble piling the heap for the UBG chairman. Mallya is the numero uno news maker this month and has made it for all the unlikely reasons.
