The Indian stock market showed early signs of recovery on Thursday, December 4, after four straight sessions of losses. Both benchmark indices ended marginally higher, offering some relief to investors. The Sensex gained 159 points, or 0.19%, to close at 85,265.32, while the Nifty 50 rose 48 points, or 0.18%, to settle at 26,033.75.
