A new way to visit Vaishno Devi has come up by which you can travel directly to the base camp at katra. Tracked in with an estimated budget of 1050 crore which comprises of seven tunnels which stretch over a span of 10 km of the 25 km track is complimented with 30 bridges which vary in size.

The track is a very edgy matter for the railway as the track past is very hostile and was a challenge to complete the 3.1 km track to the base camp.
