The movie was released in 42 other countries including non-traditional markets like France, Germany, Morocco and Maldives. So that Salman’s fans, living abroad, can also enjoy their beloved star on silver screen. In this movie Salman was seen with Jacqueline Fernandez. Kick earned almost 100 Crores within four days of its release.

Full of top star casts like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bacchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah, Farah Khan’s Happy New Year was the top grosser movie of this year. It pulled an amount of 300 Crores worldwide. The movie was packed with comedy, dance and music. Though critics hated it a lot, the movie managed to earn the maximum number of awards at the Stardust Awards 2014. It also got film of the year title. Shah Rukh Khan got star of the year-male award and Deepika Padukone grabbed Star of the Year-female. Farah Khan got dream director of the year for this movie.
