Appearing in over 100 films, Samuel L. Jackson is only nominated once for the Academy Awards and it was back in 1994 for his role in ‘Pulp Fiction’. A highly prolific actor but all he lacks was a role which is Oscar worthy. The 66-year-old actor once said “Some people only do movies that are meaningful and that are going to come out during academy awards season, but I’m not that person. I’ve done enough work now not to worry about getting an academy award,” but he confessed that he was gutted for missing out on ‘Pulp Fiction’ and he insisted later that he is not worried about the Oscars anymore.
