Spotify Wrapped 2025 is live, and the company says this year’s edition is its most interactive and personalized yet. After criticism of last year’s AI-heavy rollout, Spotify has shifted focus back to detailed insights, creator messages and fun social elements that reflect real listening behavior.

The biggest update is Wrapped Party, Spotify’s first live multiplayer feature. Users can invite up to nine friends to compare their Wrapped results in real time. The tool creates group data stories that highlight roles like 'most obsessed fan', 'picky listener', or the person who streams the most news podcasts.

Wrapped 2025 introduces several new features aimed at giving listeners a clearer view of their habits. For the first time, Top Songs Playlists show actual play counts. Spotify has also launched an interactive Top Song Quiz, Listening Age insights, and Wrapped Clubs six themed groups such as Soft Hearts Club, Club Serotonin and Full Charge Crew. Each user gets assigned a role within these clubs based on their streaming patterns.

Listeners will continue to see their top songs, artists and genres, with top albums added this year. Those who enjoy podcasts or audiobooks will also receive tailored insights. Creators, including musicians, podcasters and now authors, can share personalised video messages with their top fans.

While Spotify retained some AI components, it clarified that AI is used only for summarizing insights using a language model not for generating the Wrapped experience itself.

With more transparency, new social tools and richer data storytelling, Wrapped 2025 aims to bring back the playful, personalised experience users have been asking for.
