May Movie Magic - Movie Releases this Week

Hey Elton John fans, the time has come! The moment you guys have been waiting for ages is finally here. The much awaited ‘Rocketman’ is ready to release in the theatres near you.  A musical fantasy that depicts the story of the international singer Elton John, Rocketman tells the burst through the years and follows the journey from a pianist to a leading legendary singer around the world. Reports suggest that the movie will rather be a fantasy than a biography. Helmed by Dexter Fletcher (the Director), the movie is named after the singer’s 1972 song ‘Rocketman’. The story portrays John’s early days at the Royal Academy of Music and Taron Egerton (known for his Kingsmen main role) who played Elton John in the movie earned several appreciations for his brilliant performance.

On 16^th May, 2019, the movie got premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and movie acknowledged positive reviews from the critics as it got released in UK one week prior to the U.S release. The movie will be exclusively distributed in India by Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
