Hyderabad to Launch Comic Con India 2025-26 with a Pop Culture Bang

Hyderabad is all set to become the center of India’s pop culture as Comic Con India returns for its 13th edition from October 31 to November 2, 2025. The event will be held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre and will mark the beginning of Comic Con’s 2025-2026 season, promising a weekend packed with comics, cosplay, gaming, anime and music
Known for its growing interest in pop culture, Hyderabad will be the first city in a season long tour across India, bringing together fans of all ages. Audience can look forward to meeting international celebrities, buying exclusive merchandise, enjoying live music and comedy shows, watching competitive esports, and taking part in cosplay contests.
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, expressed his excitement about the event. He said, “We are excited to start another chapter of Comic Con India with Hyderabad as the first host city. We are bringing the best celebrities and experiences tailored to each city’s fans. Last year’s Hyderabad Comic Con attracted over 40,000 attendees, and this year’s event is expected to be even bigger. Fans can also look forward to meeting popular content creators and enjoying lively performances throughout the three days.
Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, explained why Hyderabad was chosen to launch the season. She said, “Hyderabad has quickly become a cultural and creative hub with a young, enthusiastic fanbase and a growing love for global pop culture. It’s the perfect city to start our biggest season yet, and we expect massive participation”.
