Full Name: Sahabzade Irrfan Ali Khan

Sahabzade Irrfan Ali Khan was born in Jaipur to a Muslim family. His father late Jagidar ran a tyre business. His mother Begum was a house wife. When he came into the Film Industry he was known by his full name, Irfan Khan. But now he decided to drop the Khan from his name because he says that he doesn’t want to identify with any community or religion. He has also added an extra “r” to his name because he likes the sound of it in his name.

He has acted in many movies and won both critical and commercial success. He acted in Bollywood as well as television and theatre. He has also worked in many international successful movies like A Mighty Heart, Slumdog Millionaire, and The Amazing Spider-Man, as well as in the HBO series In Treatment.

Shobana

Full Name: Shobana Chandrakumar

Born as Shobana Chandrakumar on 21^st March 1970 she decided to just go with Shobana when she entered the Malayalam film industry. She was born to Anandam and Chandrakumar. Shobana’s dancing genes are inherited. She is the niece of the Travancore sisters Lalitha, Padmini and Ragini, who were renowned for their skill in classical Indian dance.

Along with Malayam movies she has acted in movies in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada during the 80’s and 90’s. Shobana hasn’t married but in 2010 she adopted a baby girl whom she named Anantanarayani.
