BANGALORE: Most of us tend to think that movies are funded solely by rich Hollywood studios, or big business corporations, but we need to think again because over the years there has also been movies funded entirely by the audience through Internet donations and is considered as a legitimate practice.

Audiences have been responsible for some splendid films, and now there are even film festivals being arranged through this domain. As a tribute to these moves, we have listed out 10 Films which are Funded Entirely By Audience as reported by Dustin Koski of TopTenz.
Wish I Was Here
Film by Zach Braff, raised around $3 million on Kickstarter in 2013 and has undoubtedly set the pace for crowd-funding films. 

Though, donating money to a celebrity’s film project was considered a ridiculous move for many, Braff’s movie showed that anyone with some degree of power and influence can surely get their film financed through conventional means.

Braff’s project surely made many film makers think that crowd-funding is a new form of film finance.
