Los Angeles: Hollywood musicians and actors hailed Barack Obama on his re-eletion as the U.S president, calling it a proud moment for America.

As Obama defeated Republican challenger Mitt Romney, Hollywood celebrities took to Twitter to congratulate him, reports eonline.com.

Here's what some of them said:

Elizabeth Hurley (Actress): Barack Obama, we are more than just a collection of red states and blue states, we are the United States of America.
