Thanos
One of the most powerful super-villains in the Marvel Universe and has clashed with the heroes from the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. Josh Brolin portrays Thanos in the films. It was Jim Starlin who created Thanos and he admits that he was influenced by Jack Kirby’s Darkseid for DC Comics.
Thanos is a mutant member of the race of superhumans known as the Titanian Eternals. Thanos can absorb and project vast quantities of cosmic energy and is also capable of telekinesis and telepathy. He is an accomplished hand-to-hand combatant having been trained in the art of war on Titan.
