The Amazing Spiderman
Marc Webb and stunt coordinator Andy Armstrong wanted to create real stunts that will amaze the viewers and will be a befitting welcome to the Spiderman series. The Carousel scenes that were filmed involved some of the most complex flying wire stunts ever done.
Particularly the aerial web slinging, where the stuntman in Spiderman outfit was made to perform in rigs ranging between 200-300 feet tall, giving a natural touch of Spiderman slinging through the metro city. Stunning stunts like these in the movie cost a high amount out of the movie’s $250 million production budget.
