Brief: The hackers got access to the personal laptop of a former contractor of the hospital that led them to the access of 34,503 patients’ data. The information among everything else consisted of health insurance information of these patients that can lead to other grievous incidents. A letter was sent to all these patients by the hospital apologizing for the same.

People Affected: 110,000
Brief: Personal information including names, social security numbers and other data of 110,000 people was breached into by hackers that belong to a group called Spex Security. The hackers broke into the school’s record system and attained the information of the people that was posted online. The breach exposed personal data of all these students that can lead to severe identity thefts in the future.
