Bangalore: With Microsoft striving hard to resist the up roaring competition, the advisory board of the technology giant urged in for more addition to its CEO shortlist. The recommended candidates include Alan Mulally, CEO of Ford Motors and Mike Lawrie, CEO of Computer Science Corp; both who are proved personalities by uplifting their respective companies from great loss.

Ballmer’s sudden decision to quit the CEO position within one year time has made the board authorities to be on a look-out for a new head. A list of 40 members was advised; however it is now narrowed down considerably.

Microsoft expressed reluctance in providing details on whether they have contacted these candidates or has just been planned. Information regarding the names of the opted ones are kept private and anonymous by the sources as the news about the ‘would be new CEO’ of Microsoft is something the tech world look keenly at.
