Microsoft Adds-Up Two More Names To CEO Probable List
The company reorganized its administrational structure a couple of months back which is assumed to be as a move to get a lead in mobile device business, where they are showing poor performance. Why Mulally and Lawrie?
The career records of Mulally and Lawrie shows that they were greatly successful in uplifting their respective companies into high profitable organizations; no wonder why investors are attracted to them.
Yet, there are reports that speculations on Mulally being chosen to the CEO wish list are false. "There is no change from what we announced in November: Alan Mulally plans to continue to serve as Ford's president and CEO through at least 2014," Ford spokesman Jay Cooney said.
On the other hand, the positive career records of Lawrie pushed him into the short list of potential candidates. He has turned around Misys plc, a UK-based financial software company before joining Computer Science.
