A sports and fun-loving person, Thakur moved to Myntra on accounts of having more varied experience. "In FMCG you are working with legacy brands, some older than my grandfather. You cannot make too many changes," said Thakur, who has previously worked with Marico, Wipro Consumer Care and TVS Motors. In May, Flipkart acquired Myntra but the two operate as independent entities for now. “FMCG is always known for its speed. But here the response time is just hours and that is quite exciting,” said Thakur.
