5. Shobhana Bhartia
Chairperson and Editorial Director, Hindustan Times Group
Shobhana Bhartia was born in Kolkata. She is the daughter of the founder of the Hindustan Times Group, KK Birla. She is the current Chairperson and the Editorial Director of the Hindustan Times Group. Hindustan Times Group is her ancestral treasure.
Apart from serving the Rajya Sabha as a nominated member 2006-2012 she is also the Pro Chancellor of ‘Birla Institute of Technology and Science’, Pilani.
She was the recipient of the ‘Global Leader of Tomorrow’ awards from the World Economic Forum in 1996. She received the ‘Outstanding Business Woman of the Year’ award in 2001 and National Press India Award in 1992.
Her other achievements include the ‘Business Woman award’, ‘The Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence’ (2007).
6. Nita Ambani
Founder-Chairperson, Dhirubhai Ambani International School
She is the eldest daughter-in-law of the most admired business tycoon of India and is the wife of the richest person in India.
Nita Ambani, born on November 1, 1963 is the Founder-Chairperson of the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. She is the co-owner of the ‘Mumbai Indians’ cricket team. She is also actively involved in ‘Project Drishti’.
Nita Ambani, is a commerce graduate from ‘Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics’. Awards like ‘Samaj Seva Vishwa Bhushan’ (2005), 'Corporate Citizen of the Year’ (2012) completes the list of her achievements.
