Bennet and Coleman owns this massive media group. A major part of the funds are provided by ‘World Christian Council’ while the rest of it is shared equally by an Englishman and an Italian Robertio Mindo who is a relative of Indian National Congress president, Sonia Gandhi.

Times Of India, Times now (24- hour news channel), Vijaya Karnataka, Nav-Bharth Times, Stardust, Vijay Times, Mid-Day, Femina are some the channels operated under this group.

Deccan Chronicle

Driving through a rough phase presently, Deccan Chronicle is one of the largest distributed tabloids in English in Southern India. The newspaper company is operated by two brothers T Venkattram Reddy and T Vinayak Ravi Reddy. The readers count for their daily newspaper is 10.88 lakh.

The group also has political links associated to it. T Venkattram Reddy, the chairman, is the son of Late Congress MP T Chandrasekhar and nephew of Congress MP T Subbirami Reddy.
