It has more than 800,000 postings in 33,000 urban areas and 192 nations; the organization is governed and operated by Airbnb, Inc. As of March 2015, Airbnb is raising another round of funding that will put the organization at a $20 billion valuation.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Chesky, Cofounder and CEO of Airbnb expressed that the company looks open to the idea of an IPO, “We will do it at a time when it benefits the company, when we have a good reason.”
