TECPRO Bags Rs.139.8 Crore Worth Orders

Bangalore: Tecpro Systems has bagged Rs 139.8 crore worth of orders from the the West Bengal Power Development Corporation for supply of ash handling plant turnkey package for its upcoming project.

With the new order, the total order book stands at Rs 4,500 crore, the engineering, procurement and construction company said in a statement.

Tecpro Systems said it received the Rs 139.8 crore from the (West Bengal government promoted) the West Bengal Power Development Corporation for supply of ash handling plant turnkey package for its Phase-II of Sagardighi Thermal Power project.

The company would undertake design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, inspection, packing, inland transportation, erection and commissioning of complete Ash Handling plant turnkey package for the Sagardighi Thermal Power Project, units three and four comprising 2x500MW.

"This order further strengthens our commitment to offer comprehensive coal handling and ash handling solutions for the power sector," Tecpro Systems Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Amul Gabrani said.

Shares of the company ended higher by 2.50 per cent at Rs 153.55 apiece on the BSE.
