Stanza to Invest 150 Cr to Accommodate Working Professionals

Delhi-based student housing startup, Stanza Living intends to invest 150 crore to provide accommodation for working professionals. The work for the accommodation would begin with an inventory of 10,000 beds for the working professionals. The accommodation would be available across the cities Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, and Coimbatore.

"We will invest Rs 150 crore over a period of one year for working professional category with an aim to grow the category to 50,000 beds in next one year," says Anindya Dutta, MD & Co-Founder, Stanza Living.

The company aims to expand its business by increasing beds from 10,000 to 50,000 within a year. On the other hand, Stanza has been providing accommodation according to the requirements of the student community and presently, the company claims to have a consolidated inventory of 55,000 beds throughout India for students and working professionals.

Furthermore, the company would carry out the operation of accommodation for working professionals as a separate business line. Alongside, the working professionals' accommodation would be designed to meet the requirements of the working professionals. In addition, the company is planning to further expand its business services for working professionals in six cities before the end of the next quarter.

Stanza Living was established in 2017 and has its operations in Delhi, Bangalore and Jaipur. The company was co-founded by Anindiya Dutta and Sandeep Dalmia. Currently, Stanza operates in Hyderabad, Indore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, Dehradun and Baroda.
