Pitney Bowes & Shyplite Jointly Launch a Multicarrier Shipping Platform to Simplify Office Shipping

U.S-based global technology company - Pitney Bowes, and Shyplite - a logistics company that provides a multi-carrier integrated SaaS platform, collaborate together to launch a multicarrier shipping platform for small businesses to ease their office shipping needs. The platform will also offer plug-ins for shopping platforms, parcel consignment, parcel tracking, billing and customer support from one convenient dashboard.

Venkat Rao, Country Director, Pitney Bowes, says, “For nearly 100 years, Pitney Bowes has been removing the complexity of mailing for our clients. Now, we are focused on doing the same for shipping. We look forward to continuing to innovate with our partner Shyplite”.

The main agenda for the collaboration is to optimize parcel delivery by reducing cost for SMBs in India. With this platform, customers will be able to select the best shipping option at the best price, creating an improved customer experience with the parcel delivery. The small businesses and e-Commerce retailers can now concentrate on their business rather than dealing with the complexity of the daily shipping.

“This alliance is a step forward in making shipping affordable, simple and reliable for smaller businesses in India that previously did not have access to the improved customer experience and cost savings of a shipping platform like we have developed,” adds Sugam Jain, Co-founder & CEO, Shyplite.

In 2017, India has shipped one parcel per person according to Pitney Bowes Shipping Index, and the overall parcel market is expected to reach 1.5 billion parcels compared to 1.3 billion parcels last year. However, the new shipping solution will reduce cost for retailers and office shippers and focus on accurate deliveries to customers and online shoppers.

Established in 1920, Pitney Bowes delivers commerce solutions in areas of shipping & mailing, customer information management, location intelligence, customer engagement, and global e-Commerce. In addition, the company also offers solutions and services to support synchronized communications execution, personalized customer engagement, and cross-border shipping.

Headquartered at Delhi, Shyplite.com enables e-Retailers to automate their logistics and increase efficiency in shipments by providing a single window shipping platform. Its tracking plug-ins can be integrated into the website, and customers can get real time updated tracking information of their order.
