BANGALORE: Ever since the World has been remained a land of controversies, say it a controversial guru or sports, films or any business. Recently Maggi instant noodles were banned in India for containing toxic levels of lead that could be harmful for consumption. 

But if you take a flash back trip in the popular food and beverage companies’ history, there are many other food brands, which had to face hard times in India. # The Wriggling Dairy Milk

Who doesn’t love chocolates? And when the name Dairy Milk comes, you start imagining some of the mouth watering varieties. But do you know your favorite Dairy Milk, once became a thorn of eye for every parents and regular customers in 2003.

Back then, some of the reports stated that worms were found in some of the Cadbury Dairy Milk’s packets in Maharashtra. According to Maharashtra’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner, "It was presumed that worms got into it at the storage level, but then what about the packing - packaging was not proper or airtight, either ways it's a manufacturing defect with unhygienic conditions or improper packaging," reports NDTV.

In 2004 the company spent a lot of money to get imported machinery, thus ensuring better packing and packaging.
