Indian Inc Gets Women At The Top Positions

 India’s second richest Indian, Mukesh Ambani, has already been in the race. He appointed his wife Nita Ambani to the company’s board. Recently, a well known industrialist of Raymond Group, Gautam Singhania named Nawaz Singhania, who is his wife, as the new non executive director. There are even many companies which haave started compiling and implanting the rules giving by the regulator.

The lack of women at the top in the business hierarchical level is fallout of the female talent. The reason why it is necessary to uplift women to the senior position can be acknowledged with a fact that, Indian women have become more career minded. Hence, SEBI’s step for has been welcomed by various organizations with a view of supporting women to explore their talents.
