Bangalore: Earlier Indians were happy with whatever they had and were happy with the products they owned. As time passed, the way people looked at life changed drastically. In modern times people are more concerned about their image in the society, so they try to own expensive and branded stuffs to step ahead others. India’s luxury market is rising beyond limit as Indians have started using branded products and services, reports Kanika Datta of Business Standard.

Many international vendors of luxury products and services have reached India due to their increasing demand. “The changing face of luxury in India” a report released by Indian Industry and market research firm (IMRB) talks about the unique characteristics of Indian luxury market. India is no more considered among the poorest nation as Indians have become more capable of buying luxury goods and services.
