Carlos Slim Helu: From year 2010 to 2014, Carlos Slim was ranked as the richest man in the world, who in 2015 has slipped to the 2nd position with a net worth of $77.1 billion. Through his conglomerate, Group Carso, he holds significant position in many remarkable companies. Group Carso holds interest in many sectors like communications, real estate, airlines, media, technology, retailing, and finance.
Carlos’s parents Jullian and Linda were also in business, where Jullian had a dry goods store and some real estate properties. This family business and property laid the brick for Carlos’ wealth.
Warren Buffett: Warren Buffett is the founder of the Berkshire Hathaway and owns a net worth of $72.7 billion. He is known as the most successful investor of the century and a devoted philanthropist who gave away almost 99 percent of his fortune for philanthropic causes.
Buffett is also known as the Wizard of Omaha, Oracle of Omaha and Sage of Omaha, for his sense of value investing.
