Mary Callahan Erdoes is Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan's Asset Management division, a global leader in investment management and private banking with more than $1.3 trillion in assets under supervision.

Mary was born on August 13, 1967. She met Philip Erdoes, her husband at Harvard Business School and currently lives in New York City with their three daughters. In 2012 she was included in the 50 Most Influential lists of Bloomberg Markets Magazine and ranked 24th in the Forbes list of most powerful women.

In 1996 when Erdoes left her finance job to join JPMorgan’s private bank managing fixed-income portfolios, one of the senior JPMorgan officials said if it was a correct decision to give such a big responsibility to a women who was the mother of two at that time. Erdoes replied, “I can’t imagine someone saying that about a man with two children”, reports Forbes.
