Kimaya is a designer garments showroom which brings different brands under one roof. It was found by Pradeep Hirani and wife Neha Hirani in the year 2002. The Mumbai-based firm has collections from Tarun Tahilliani & Manish Malhotra to Ranna Gill.
After Franklin Templeton’s appearance in 2011, Kimaya raised
60 crore and valued the company at
300 crore.
Pradeep Hirani says "Compartmentalization is the key”. The firm has now started a new brand named called “Karmik” which is sold at affordable rates to reach the common man.
Kimaya recently unveiled the festive collection 2013 of designer Jyoti Khaitan and Pradeep said in an interview that “The brand would associate only with selected franchise partners, who have an ‘F+’ blood group. Kimaya is care for in a cohesive fashion centric environment and thus would expect the same from its franchise partners”.
