Shubhra Chadda, Co-founder, Chumbak
Partnered with her husband Vivek Prabhakar, Shubhra Chadda co-founded Chumbak in 2010. They started as a range of Indian-themed souvenirs and other novelty sellers and have now grown into an expansive store for apparel, home and accessories. However, while making Chumbak a reality, they had to make tough decisions regarding finances—which was followed by the duo selling their Bangalore apartment in return for the required monetary investment. With a sprawling and colourful corporate office in Bangalore, Chumbak has not failed its inceptors.
