Starbucks has kept quiet so far under the attack of Dunkin' Donuts
Dunkin' started off its attack on Starbucks in 2007 with ads that ridiculed the coffee culture. Ever since, it has been an extreme attack with no response from Seattle's coffee giant. In 2008 Dunkin' finally started naming names, announcing its coffee superior to Starbucks after a national taste test. Its promotion openly told coffee drinkers to stay away from Starbucks with various tags.
