Timothy McLevish joined Krafts Foods Group in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer and executive vice president. He was earlier associated with Ingersoll-Rand Company as Senior Vice President and CFO since 2002. His total earning as of 2012 was $6.94 million while the CEO, William Vernon earned $6.83 million in the same year. The difference in compensation of McLevish and Vernon was $0.10 million. The company has recently announced that McLevish will be succeeded by Teri List-Stoll as CFO in the first quarter of 2014.

8. Kevin Turner, COO

Total compensation in 2012: $10.68 million

Company: Microsoft

CEO: Steven Ballmer

Turner joined Microsoft in 2005 as Chief Operating Officer and leads the company’s global sales, marketing and services organization. He is also responsible for deciding the overall strategy and direction of Microsoft along with CEO Steven Ballmer. Turner has contributed immensely to the sales and marketing group, who delivered more than $77 million in revenue in 2012. His compensation as on 2012 was $10.68 million which is $9.37 million more than the compensation of Steven Ballmer, which is $1.32 million.
