MCA course was introduced in the year 1993 with the permission of Government of Andhra Pradesh and affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. The A.I.C.T.E. has accorded its permission in the year 2003 with an intake of 60. The MCA programme prepares its graduates for positions involving Organizational Information Systems, Systems Software, Application Software and Research.
