Acer Aspire 3680:

Acer India breaks the laptop price barrier again by introducing their entry-level notebook – Aspire 3680 series at Rs 19,999. The 14.1” slim notebook comes with Windows Vista Home, Intel Celeron processor, and Intel GMA 950 rendering fine detailed 3D graphic, Acer GridVista and Acer Empowering Technology enhancing the functional efficiency of the notebook. The notebook also has Acer CrystalBrite high-brightness LCD panel, Acer Arcade, 7.1-channel surround sound supported by S/PDIF, 160 GB1 hard drive, up to 2 GB of DDR2 533 MHz dual-channel support, DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive1, Type II PC Card slot, 5-in-1 card reader, wide array of I/O ports including 3x USB 2.0, VGA and S-video. The series is light in weight and the acclaimed Folio design sports chic lines, smooth curves, and a cool metallic sheen that projects confidence and class.

Nokia E90:

Nokia has unleashed E90 Communicator, its first enterprise phone with GPS, two cameras, video conferencing and active notes. Devised for business productivity, Nokia E90 offers convenient email access, web browsing and maps application for location-based services. Some of its power features are up to 128 MB free memory for user data and applications, WorldMate, Wireless Presenter, and Global Race – Raging Thunder – globally available via the Downloads Application, AAC, Nokia Office Tools and Team Suite, VoIP 2.1, integrated GPS, 2 cameras (3.2 mega-pixel camera and a QCIF camera) video conferencing and active notes. Nokia E90 Communicator also allows users to view, open, and edit email attachments with Quickoffice (documents, spreadsheets, and presentations) and offers Zip Manager and Adobe Acrobat Reader. All at a price of Rs. 40,499.

Canon PowerShot S3IS Digital Camera:

Canon has launched its new PowerShot S3IS digital camera, a camera that would keep an adventurous professional satisfied and the creative cells of an amateur busy. The S3IS has a 6.0 MP sensor and 12x zoom Canon lens with a focal length of 36-432mm. The Optical Image Stabilizer provides upto three stops of camera shake correction. It has a 2-inch 115,000 pixel resolution variangle LCD, 4x Digital Zoom, an ISO range of 80-800, live histogram in record mode and the usual PASM modes. Measuring 113.4 x 78.0 x 75.5mm, the S3IS has a 0.33 inch electronic zoom view finder, mechanical and electronic shutters, 23 display languages, and runs on 4 AA Alkaline batteries or compact power adaptor. It weighs approximately 410gm and is available at Rs. 25,995.

Panasonic PT-F100 Series:

Panasonic Asia Pacific has launched a new series of projectors, the PT-F100 Series. At 3200 lumens, they are the world's first dust resistant fixed installation projectors fitted with the revolutionary Auto Rolling Filter (ARF) that automatically renews the filter circumventing problems like lower brightness. PT-F100 Series has a hermetically sealed anti-dust cabinet and airflow inside has been designed to keep the inside of the projector clean. A new lamp drive system helps maintain the brightness longer preventing the wear of electrodes. It has an advanced Daylight View 3 feature to enhance the colour perception, brightness and contrast for crisp, clear and vivid projection, ambient light sensor (ALS) for automatic adjustment to room light, a large 2x zoom and lens shift function for greater flexibility, RS-232C and remote (contact control) terminals, a wireless PC connection and Direct Power Off ability. Up to 16 computers can connect and project at a given time. Priced at Rs. 1,61,000 onwards, the projectors are compatible to Mac platform.
