World’s smallest laser printer from Samsung

Samsung India’s new SCX 3201, with dimensions of 38.8 cm x 29.9 cm x 23.4 cm will qualify to be the world’s smallest laser multifunctional printer. The printer which weighs 7.4 kilograms can print or copy up to 16 ppm in A4 and scan at up to 1200 x 1200dpi optical resolution which can be further enhanced up to 4800 x 4800 dpi. It has a two digits LED display and 32 MB buffer memory. Its average cartridge yield is 1500 standard pages and has a 5000 page monthly duty cycle. It has a toner saver mode that reduces cost by using less toner. Its ‘Eco Print’ button allows double side printing while the ‘Print Screen’ button instantly prints what’s on the computer monitor. Samsung’s AnyWeb Print software which comes with the printer will help to easily select, drag, and drop content from different web pages onto a printable scrap board which can be printed quickly or saved in different file formats. The SCX 3201 comes with one year on-site warranty.
