Dr. Anil Gupta Starting his career as advisor to the Ministry of Power, Government of Nicaragua, along with consulting and developing software for electric utilities, Dr. Anil Gupta has had stints with AT&T in Bell Labs and Sun Microsystems in his career of 25 years plus. Recently he has taken over as the COO of Aditi Technologies.

A person with technical background, Gupta shifted his focus from technology to sales and marketing while working at AT&T, under the guidance of his mentor. At Sun Microsystems, he spent eleven years in various senior executive positions, the last being the Vice President of India Engineering Center at Bangalore. During the years at Sun, Gupta led a number of initiatives in engineering and operations of global networks, integration of mergers and acquisitions, and helped reduce cost structures significantly. At Aditi, he will be responsible for operations, customer satisfaction, and engineering leadership development.

An extrovert, Gupta loves working with people and helps them shape their career. He attributes his success to the guidance he got from mentors and the supportive teams he has had all through his career. Justice and dignity for labour are the values he holds high in his life. He advises all to hold their values at the forefront and blend career growth with personal growth.

An engineering graduate from IIT, Delhi, he moved to the U.S. to pursue his masters and later a PhD in operational research from the University of California. For Gupta, family is his foremost priority and he loves to spend most of his time with them. Apart from that he enjoys playing chess, photography, and working out at the gym. Currently he is looking forward to revive his passion for trekking and mountaineering.
