Cisco Strengthens Mobility Space with Collaboration in Motion

In a bid to keep pace with the mobile business models, the networking giant Cisco has unveiled the Collaboration in Motion initiative to expand its mobility solution. Under the initiative, the firm would integrate its different platforms including Cisco Unified Wireless Network, Cisco WebEx, and Cisco Unified Communications. The Collaboration in Motion is focused on new products and services in five areas that include the workspace experience, the wireless network platform, third party applications, technology partners, and professional services. The costs of the products range from $100 to $250. The core technology partners in India for the initiative include ArcSight and NetScout. Alongside the mobility initiative, the company has also extended its network security solutions, under its Collaboration with Confidence initiative, claiming to ensure security at the premise as well as in the cloud.
